§01 Heavy oak canopy = aggressive leaf load
Heights yards are some of the most beautifully shaded in Houston, and that's exactly why pool service here costs more time per visit. We routinely double up on skimmer cleanouts, surface skim more aggressively, and bump frequency during peak weeks. It's baked into how we price.
§02 Older pools, smaller equipment pads
Lots of Heights pools have 30–50-year-old gunite shells, original Hayward or Sta-Rite gear, and vintage tile. We service them as-is, repair what's repairable, and when it's time to renovate we treat the substrate properly instead of paint-over.
§03 Tight-lot drainage
Heights lots are narrow and the rebuilt-around-existing-pools landscaping rarely drains correctly. We inspect equipment pads for standing water, rust, and corrosion every visit.
